In a culture where absolutes are hard to come by, Garden Way Church has chosen to claim the Bible as the standard for truth. We do not claim that every interpretation we make of scripture is infallible, but we do hold to divine inspiration of scripture, that is, that every portion of the Bible was written by individuals who were directed by God Himself as they penned its words (II Peter 1:20-21 & II Timothy 3:16).

In addition to giving us the truth about God and His creation of the world and universe, we believe the Bible gives us the answers to life's ultimate questions about who we are, why we are here and where we are going. We also believe it provides a practical source of wisdom that can be applied to our everyday lives. Because it is our foundation for all truth, we acknowledge the Bible's authority over the church, its teachers, and its members (Acts 17:11).
